2013 | video installation | HD | 9mins | Canada

SYNOPSIS

"D" is for Diorama, as part of the Alphabet project, is a dual projection installation that takes animals and settings from New York’s Natural History Museum, and Bronx Zoo, and places them in a natural environment. By highlighting the uncanny of dioramas and zoos as mirrors of human concepts and behaviors, the installation invites the viewer to deliberate on our intricate relationships with the animal kingdom, nature and technology.
